Khadijah Faison was born in Los Angeles, California and moved to Las Vegas in 2001. In high school, she was a journalist for Panther Print—Palo Verde High School’s newspaper. The first article she wrote for Panther Print was published as the cover story in Class Magazine. A few months later, she was one of six students selected to write for the Review-Journal’s teen section called R-Jeneration. Khadijah wrote entertainment articles for the Review-Journal until she graduated.
After graduating from high school, Khadijah worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy for two years. Her manager at CVS opened his own company, ABC Pharmacy, and asked her to work for him. She left CVS in 2009 and became the store manager at ABC during her first year of employment.
In 2013, Khadijah decided to pursue her dream of becoming an attorney, and she resigned from ABC Pharmacy to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas full-time. While completing her bachelor’s degree, she completed over 1,000 volunteer hours and became a member of the Dean’s Honor List, Rotaract Club, Sigma Tau Delta, Phi Eta Sigma, and Phi Sigma Pi Honors Society.
In August of 2016, Khadijah started as an intern at Claggett & Sykes Law Firm. After interning for five months, Claggett & Sykes hired her as a Legal Assistant and was promoted to Marketing Manager in September 2017. Since then, Khadijah has received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Professional Writing from UNLV.
She is now studying to take the LSAT, and she plans to obtain a J.D. from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law.
In her spare time, Khadijah enjoys volunteering, reading, writing, drawing, weight training, practicing marital arts, and spending time with her family.
