Quanisha Holloway is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, and attended Mojave High School. After high school, Quanisha graduated summa cum laude as valedictorian of Wilberforce University in 2015, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Quanisha then went on to graduate cum laude from Thomas H. Goode Jones School of Law in 2018, where she obtained her J.D. as well as L.L.M. in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution.
In law school, Quanisha received the highest grade in advanced legal research, business associations, and administrative law. She also served as a member of the Board of Advocates, where she competed in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition, placing third. Additionally, Quanisha showcased her writing skills through her position as junior editor for the school’s law review and managing editor of the National Black Law Students Association Southern Journal for Policy and Justice.
After law school, Quanisha went on to work for the Clark County District Attorney’s Office where she served as a law clerk in the appellate division, writing several post-conviction writs and appeals. She also served as a Deputy District Attorney, attending court on behalf of the State of Nevada in criminal cases, responding to pretrial motions and writs, and negotiating offers.
Quanisha was later hired by Claggett & Sykes Law Firm in 2020 where she now serves as an attorney in their appellate division.
In her spare time, Quanisha enjoys spending time with her family and servicing the community.
