About Katrina Stark
Katrina is part of Claggett & Sykes Law Firm’s mass torts and class action team.
Before joining the firm, Katrina worked at one of Nevada’s premier boutique litigation firms and handled complex commercial cases and class actions, gaining extensive experience in high-stakes matters.
She litigated class actions on behalf of small business owners against one of the nation's largest waste management companies and commissioned salespeople shortchanged by their employer. Katrina also worked with a top national firm representing a global hospitality company in a billion-dollar lawsuit against dozens of insurance companies. In addition, she handled various appellate matters, including writ and appellate briefing, amicus briefing for the Nevada Justice Association related to compelled medical examinations, and oral argument before the Nevada Court of Appeals in a pro bono matter—experiences that solidified Katrina’s commitment to impactful advocacy. She also helped draft the Nevada chapter of the American Bar Association's The Law of Class Action: Fifty-State Survey.
While attending William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Katrina interned for both the Nevada Supreme Court and the Eighth Judicial District Court, where she deepened her understanding of the appellate and trial court processes. She also served as a staffer on the Nevada Law Journal and as student editor for a professional conduct and ethics textbook authored by one of the law school's tenured professors.
Originally from New Zealand, Katrina moved to Las Vegas in 2014 and has called it home ever since.
