About Ryan Gormley

Ryan Gormley is a partner at Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers and a member of the firm’s mass torts and class action team. He represents individuals and communities harmed by corporate misconduct, with a focus on toxic torts and consumer protection. Ryan is licensed in Nevada and has litigated complex cases in state and federal courts across the country.

In advocating for his clients, Ryan draws on a decade of experience representing Fortune 500 companies and major insurers in cases with 8 to 10 figure exposure. Before joining Claggett & Sykes, Ryan was a partner in the Las Vegas office of a national firm, where he defended through trial many of the most significant civil matters in the state—including product liability, insurance bad faith, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases. He also worked on class actions involving consumer and toxic tort claims in federal courts nationwide. Known for his strategic approach, attention to detail, and adaptability, Ryan was often brought in to manage challenging litigation, join trial teams at critical stages, and serve as appellate counsel during and after trial.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Ryan began his legal career clerking for Chief Justice Mark Gibbons at the Nevada Supreme Court. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the William S. Boyd School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Penn State University, where he captained the men’s tennis team. Committed to service, Ryan provides pro bono legal assistance and serves on the boards of two local nonprofit organizations. For his work, Ryan has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, Nevada Business Magazine, Nevada Lawyer, and Super Lawyers.
